FZL Hamrun Malta Seminar - Week Update
Labour Youth Forum Hamrun have confirmed that preparation for the Malta seminar that is to be held in Bugibba in less than two weeks time are within schedule. The Chairperson of FZL Hamrun Josef Cachia said that 90% of the logistic part of the seminar have been finished. Whats remaining are some talks regarding the site seeing tours that are to be held. However he concluded that by next week all will be ready to host this event.
FZL Hamrun Malta Seminar - Programme Updated
Yesturday, Labour Youth Forum Hamrun has finilised the Malta Seminar programme. Some slight changes had to be made in respect to the previous programme. Seminar dates were again confirmed by the organising committee: Arrivals on the 11th and Departures of participants on the 19th July. The programme consists of 11 workshops, some site seeing tours around Malta and Gozo and traditional presentations by the respective countries. FZL Hamrun Malta Seminar - French withdraw from seminar
Labour Youth Forum Hamrun last Tuesday were informed by the French group leaded by Basel Said that due to other commitments they have defenitely withdrawn their participation in July Maltese Youth Seminar. The Agencies concerned were informed and the project was updated. So now the Maltese seminar will consist of 40 participants coming from Italy, Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan and the host country Malta.

FZL Hamrun to take part in a petition walk in aid of Ramla Bay dvelopments
Labour Youth Forum Hamrun along with other Labour Youth organisations is to take part in a petition walk in aid of Ramla Bay in Gozo on Monday 25th June 2007. The aim of this walk is to show the government that the proposed development of Ramla Bay in Gozo is totally nonsense. The petition is to be held in Valletta starting from 6pm onwards.
FZL Hamrun to take part in Labour Party Fund Rally to be held on Sunday 24th June 2007
Labour Youth Forum Hamrun is to take part along other Labour Youth organisations in next Sundays 24th June 2007 Labour Party Fund Rally to be held at the Labour Party Headquarters in Hamrun. The event is to start at noon and end by midnight.
FZL Hamrun - Italy Youth Seminar now confirmed
UNITS, an Italian youth organisation had applied for a youth exchange seminar to be held firstly in Toscany but than changed to Basilicata, South of Italy. Finally the project was accepted by the EU Youth Commitee and seminar is now confirmed. There will be an Advanced Pleniary visit from the 20th till the 22nd of July 2007 were Gordon Fava Naudi, International and Media Officer within the Labour Youth Forum Hamrun will attend. The seminar will than take place from the 18th till the 25th of August 2007. A total of 5 members from the Labour Youth forum will join other youths from the host country Italy, Israel, Egypt, Greece and Turkey.
FZL Hamrun invited to attend Youth Seminar in Cyprus
The Labour Youth Forum Hamrun has been invited by YEU Cyprus to be part of a Youth Exhange seminar under the EU Youth in Limassol, Cyprul. Labour Youth Forum Hamrun have accepted the invitation. The seminar is to be held between the 23rd and the 30th of July 2007. Participants were shortlisted and chosen by the Labour Youth Forum Hamrun Administration. A total of 5 members from the Labour Youth Hamrun will make way to Cyprus so for the seminar.

FZL Hamrun Malta Seminar - July 2007
The venue for the Maltese seminar has been chosen. All the seminar is to take place at Santa Marija Hotel in Bugibba. The Hotel is equiped with all is needed. Participants shall be staying in rooms of three with individual toiletries for each room. All participants are on full board and the hotel is equiped with swimming pools and is located in a touristic area. More details regarding the seminar to come very shortly.
FZL Hamrun Malta Seminar - July 2007
FZL Hamrun are counting down the days for the long awaited Maltese seminar that they applied with the European Union Youth back in November. This is to be held from the 11th July till the 19th July. A total of 48 participants are to take part in the youth exhcange apart from 5 organisation commitee members. FZL Hamrun with new Executive Administration
Josef Cachia has been chosen to occupy the vacant post of Chairperson at the Labour Youth Forum Hamrun, that was for a while vacant after Aaron Farrugia was promoted to Chairperson at the Labour Youth Forum Central back in March. Apart from this Noel Theuma has been chosen to occupy the role of Deputy Chaiperson within the same FZL Hamrun, that came vacant after Josef Cachia accepted the new role.
2 Labour Youth Forum Hamrun Members to be part of the Labour Youth Forum Central Executive
Recently 2 members from the Labour Youth Forum Hamrun, Josef Cachia and Gordon Fava Naudi were invited to be part of the Labour Youth Forum (Central) Executive. They both accepted their invitation. They both however retained their roles within Labour Youth Forum Hamrun. As FZL Hamrun, we wish both of them all the success in their new roles. We hope that in future, more members follow the same success.
1st May celebrations
FZL Hamrun took part in 1st May celebrations that took place in Freedom Sqaure in Valletta. It was a mass event were thousands of people entertained themselves with music from top local and foreign djs, apart from the Labour Party leadership speeches that introduced the event.

Malta Youth Exchange Seminar 2007 Approved
Finally the long awaited Malta Youth Seminar has been approved by the European Union and fundings shall be available very soon. In the meantime seminar dates have been changed. New dates are: 11 July 2007 till 18 July 2007. These dates are confirmed now. Even participating countries have confirmed their participation. As the hosting country we are looking forward to a successful seminar.
